| | Description | FINALLY. A SENSIBLE, STYLISH CASE THAT OUTPERFORMS WOOD AND PLASTIC. When we set out to develop a new case, we knew it had a lot to live up to. That’s why we spent 3 years thinking through every detail of the RB Continental — a revolutionary fusion of strength and style. The RB Continental’s water-resistant ballistic Quadraweave™ exterior surrounds a lightweight Flexoskeleton™ protection system of 1” thick high-density foam and EVA impact panels that offers unparalleled protection. Inside, a velvet tuck interior lining and thick Softmesh-lined side panels cradle your instrument in a cocoon of scuff-proof luxury. And its zippered “quick stash” headstock pocket, Zero G palm-contoured handle with weight distributing foam core, knurled abrasion grid on bottom to resist scuffing, and removeable backpack straps are designed for getting around in the real world. The RB Continental is everything you’d expect from Reunion Blues, at a price that’s almost too good to be true. | |

Fits longer-than-usual horns Feb 07, 2012
By Thomas J. Krueger I have a long horn with a narrow wrap that doesn't fit into most bags of this style. It does, however, fit well into this case. It is a very light case compared to most others, about the weight of a flimsy gig bag. However, it has a lot more protection.
When you first insert your trumpet, the case requires some pressure to get it closed, but after a couple of days the padding molds to your trumpet and the pressure isn't so great.
The accessories section can hold your mouthpiece and a bottle of oil, but that's about it. I don't need more than that, though.
Overall, I am quite pleased with the case for carrying my trumpet back and forth to work, which is where I practice.

Great value Jan 10, 2012
By Cityside At store prices, over $100, this is a very good bag. At Amazon's price when I bought it, below $50, it is a sensational bag. Very light, very strong, very stylish in a non-flashy retro way. My daughter thought she didn't want a new case until she saw this one.

Very well constructed bag Sep 07, 2011
By MoMelFL This is an awesome bag! I chose it after I read the reviews on this and other Reunion Blues cases. Very nice looking, sturdy construction. Time will tell how it holds up and, if anyone could test it, my son can (he's 10 and rides the bus with it)! Nice compact design as well. My son is picky and when he saw it, he put down his "gaming" to take a closer look. He was impressed.

The event was simply billed as "Willie Nelson Sings the Blues," but the historic two-night stand on January 12 and 13, 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center was far more than that. Call it a summit meeting between two American icons, Willie Nelson & Wynton Marsalis, two of the most significant figures in modern-day country and jazz, who discovered common ground in their love for jazz standards and the blues. Their performance stirred the sounds of New Orleans, Nashville, Austin and New York City into a brilliantly programmed mix that was equal parts down-home and cosmopolitan, with plenty of swing and just a touch of melancholy. To say that these shows were a hot ticket would be an understatement. Luckily, the tapes were rolling and the results of this unique collaboration now constitute the Blue Note album Two Men With The Blues for everyone who couldn't cram into The Allen Room.
