Light but sturdy Jan 07, 2010
By Dandelion Fog This stand is very light and compact when folded, but very sturdy and balanced with a clarinet on it. Great product.

Simple but Effective (and Nice Looking) May 31, 2011
By theta Well, there's not much to say that doesn't fit in my review "title". It appears sturdier than I expected (which is not to suggest I anticipated a problem), and looks nicer that I expected. It arrived promptly. I'm very happy with this simple little thing.
For those who complained they couldn't fit this in their clarinet cases: I normally keep mine in my university locker (I'm not a student but I'm affiliated with a university) or carry it in my backpack.
Anyway, my advice is to have SOME sort of dependable stand (you'll be much more comfortable, and your clarinet will be safer), and if you use this kind, make sure you don't lose your rubber stoppers (because otherwise a prong could slip out and disappear, and you never, ever, ever, should use something like this with only two prongs, leaning it against a chair or something).
Not a good cornet stand Jun 15, 2011
By Daniel Risacher Seems okay for what it's advertised for. Definitely a little bulky to put in an instrument case, but don't you use the stand for wherever you practice at home?
Somehow I convinced myself that a cornet and a trumpet are close enough that it would work for a cornet, but it doesn't. Not the stand's fault, but there you go.
Nice clarinet stand, too big to fit in case. Mar 18, 2011
By Jonathan Henthorn This is a great stand and works very well.
The only down-side is it isn't small enough to be packed in the bell in a clarinet case. However when I'm playing in other places i still fold it up and bring it with me because I think it's better than the compact ones and still not that big.
Great compact stand Dec 15, 2010
By Steven Wilson Nice, compact, stable stand. Well made simple product with legs that are long enough to provide decent support. I've had one for a while now and bought this one for my daughter for christmas.

The event was simply billed as "Willie Nelson Sings the Blues," but the historic two-night stand on January 12 and 13, 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center was far more than that. Call it a summit meeting between two American icons, Willie Nelson & Wynton Marsalis, two of the most significant figures in modern-day country and jazz, who discovered common ground in their love for jazz standards and the blues. Their performance stirred the sounds of New Orleans, Nashville, Austin and New York City into a brilliantly programmed mix that was equal parts down-home and cosmopolitan, with plenty of swing and just a touch of melancholy. To say that these shows were a hot ticket would be an understatement. Luckily, the tapes were rolling and the results of this unique collaboration now constitute the Blue Note album Two Men With The Blues for everyone who couldn't cram into The Allen Room.
