Re: Hercules DS513BB 3-Trumpet, Flugelhorn Stand May 01, 2009
By M. Escamilla Good Stand! Does it's job. Stand very stable even when you're just using a flugelhorn and trumpet--didn't topple over! (and yes, I do have three trumpets) Highly recommend. Good Price, too! The minus, if there is one, is that it can be kinda bulky when storing. Have plenty of space in your trumpet case. (my stand did NOT come with a carrying bag.) I DID make it fit in my case, though.

Triple Horn Stand Hits a Home Run Jul 23, 2010
By trumpetman The Hercules DS513BB2 has everything you want in a stand: durability, flexibility and quick assembly. The best part of the stand is its sturdiness and the comfort one gets from knowing that your valuable horns are secure. I might prefer a leather bag but the canvass bag is fine and everything fits into it nicely. This is a home run especially with the great price at Amazon!

A Fine Stand Mar 22, 2007
By Albert J. Madden
"Albert Janes Madden"
I found this three way stand to be most usefuland very safe to use without fear of it tipping over. The adjustable feature is excellent for the different instruments. Playing multiple trumpets, Flugels and cornets makes this combo stand most usstful.

Very Good Trumpet stand Dec 07, 2011
By Todd M. Forsythe I love this stand! The 3 stems unscrew, and the base folds together to make this very portable. The flare on each stem that fits inside the bell of trumpets or flugel is adjustable, so you can slide it up or down as needed for your model of horn. The only downside to this is that it doesn't "lock" down tightly enough for my taste. Yes, it does clamp down, but I think a little more pressure would be nice, because after repeated use, it seems like that "flare" has slid down the step a little bit and the padded, felt "knob" at the top of the stem gets wedged deep inside the bell. Not a big deal, but if you're making a quick horn change and not expecting it to stick, when you pick up a horn, it might lift that side of the stand and tip over your other horns. It hasn't happended to me (yet), and I only consider this a very minor "flaw" (if you can even call it that). Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it (unless your preferences absolutely require that flare to be locked in rock solid).
Great stand for traveling Mar 11, 2011
By GECTFE Just purchased a flugelhorn and needed a stand. The DS513BB allows utilization of only one stand for both trumpet & flugelhorn. It diassembles nicely and comes with carrying bag. The stand is built very well, just like the Hercules GS414B guitar stand I own! Plus, a terrific price thru Amazon! Winner!

The event was simply billed as "Willie Nelson Sings the Blues," but the historic two-night stand on January 12 and 13, 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center was far more than that. Call it a summit meeting between two American icons, Willie Nelson & Wynton Marsalis, two of the most significant figures in modern-day country and jazz, who discovered common ground in their love for jazz standards and the blues. Their performance stirred the sounds of New Orleans, Nashville, Austin and New York City into a brilliantly programmed mix that was equal parts down-home and cosmopolitan, with plenty of swing and just a touch of melancholy. To say that these shows were a hot ticket would be an understatement. Luckily, the tapes were rolling and the results of this unique collaboration now constitute the Blue Note album Two Men With The Blues for everyone who couldn't cram into The Allen Room.
